The IST is firmly committed to enhancing professional development and recognition for technical and specialist staff at all levels and aims to help staff achieve these objectives by becoming Chartered Scientists (CSci) , Registered Scientists (RSci) or Registered Science Technicians (RSciTech), or for those working in artificial intelligence Advanced AI Practitioner, Registered AI Practitioner or Registered Technician in AI (APAI, RPAI, RTechAI) or in the creative sector Registered Practitioner in the Creative Industries and Technologies (RPCiT). The Institute of Science and Technology awards the following Artificial Intelligence Professional Accreditations:

• RTechAI Registered Technician in AI
• RPAI Registered Practitioner in AI
• APAI Advanced Practitioner in AI

The IST has a number of standalone modules and short courses for specific upskilling in technical or soft skills areas.

All courses are aligned with FHEQ levels in Higher Education.

All courses can be tailored to the needs and requirements of participants.
