The IST is firmly committed to enhancing professional development and recognition for technical and specialist staff at all levels and aims to help staff achieve these objectives by becoming Chartered Scientists (CSci) , Registered Scientists (RSci) or Registered Science Technicians (RSciTech), or for those working in artificial intelligence Advanced AI Practitioner, Registered AI Practitioner or Registered Technician in AI (APAI, RPAI, RTechAI) or in the creative sector Registered Practitioner in the Creative Industries and Technologies (RPCiT). Our catalogue covers courses that lead to RTechAI and RPAI designations. The IST also has a number of standalone modules and short courses for specific upskilling in technical or soft skills areas.
