We are delighted to confirm that we will be delivering a lunchtime session for our Women in Tech group on Weds 5th June from 1pm to 2 pm. Marie Oldfield and Murray McMonies will discuss maternity/paternity leave and the implications of taking it on careers. Marie and Murray are both Fellows of the IST and have recently taken such leave. Marie Oldfield is the Chair and Founder of the IST AI Special Interest Group and Women in Tech Group. Marie is the CEO of Oldfield Consultancy and Senior Lecturer in Practice at LSE. Murray McMonies serves as a Commissioned Officer in the Submarine Service of the Royal Navy. Murray is a Marine and Nuclear Engineer by profession. There will also be time for Q&A’s from the attendees.
