IST Statement to Members on COVID-19 as at 18 March 2020

Dear Members,

We would like to extend our best wishes to everyone in this uncertain time and hope that you will all stay safe. We would also like to keep you up-to-date as much as we can over the next few weeks. As you would expect, the IST has been closely monitoring developments in relation to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

The IST has made arrangements to allow for business as usual, and we are here to support and help you as much as we feasibly can.

People‘s health and wellbeing is our priority in the current circumstances, and we have put a proactive plan in place to ensure that we are taking reasonable steps to protect this, and reduce risk to members, staff, or those attending meetings, while continuing our services and facilities. Most staff are working from home, so please feel free to contact us if you require any assistance, either by email or directly with any member of the team.

As it stands the AGM on 27th May will ikely still go ahead, but if there are continued contact restrictions running at that time, we will setup dial-in options. More information regarding the AGM plans will be released closer to the time. If you are interested in attending the AGM so that we can take numbers into consideration when we make further arrangements
