New Registered Creative Professional – Martin Robinson

Profile: Martin Robinson, MIScT RPCiT

Congratulations Martin Robinson, who has become one of the first individuals to achieve their professional registration with the new Creative Industries and Technologies accreditation.

Martin studied Fine Art Printmaking at Winchester School of Art, Faculty of Art for Southampton University; he was awarded BA(Hons) in June 1999 and MA in September 2001.

He has worked for the University for the Creative Arts since March 2000 and is now Technician Painting, Gallery, and Curatorial Support at the UCA Canterbury campus.

In May 2014 Martin achieved a Post graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in the Creative Arts from the University for the Creative Arts, and in September 2014 became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

In 2019 Martin joined the IST as a member and Registered Practitioner in June 2019. Martin has now joined the new creative register as a Registered Practitioner in the Creative Industries and Technologies in May 2024.

RPCIT registration is exclusively available to IST members – Applicants who are not already IST members will need to join the IST. Being part of our professional networks is essential for professional accreditation.

IST membership can be applied for at the same time as applying for RPCIT, or membership can be setup separately before an RPCIT application is submitted, whichever method is easiest for you. (IST Membership application form)
