We are delighted to announce that Graeme Shaw, Principal Technical Manager (Arts) at Brunel University London, has been awarded a Diploma of Fellowship from the Institute of Science & Technology (IST). The award was presented during the recent TechNet Conference, and was formally conferred by Arthur Nicholas, IST Education Officer.
This prestigious honour recognises Graeme’s outstanding contribution to the technical profession and his sustained excellence over a number of years in creativity, technology, and higher education support. As a senior class of IST membership, Fellowship signifies a very high level of achievement and leadership within the technical community. It is awarded following rigorous assessment by a Fellowship Panel and nomination by the IST Executive Board.
Graeme is an exemplary figure in the technical sector, renowned for his dedication, leadership, and innovation. In addition to his pivotal role at Brunel, Graeme is instrumental in supporting the organisation of the IST Technical Conference and serves as a key contributor to the IST’s Creative Accreditation Framework Steering Group; a forward-looking initiative that is shaping new pathways for recognition and professional development across the creative and technical sectors.
