We’re thrilled to announce that next year’s IST Technical Conference will take place on 15th September 2026 at the University of Liverpool — a city world-renowned for its innovation, creativity, and of course, being the home of The Beatles!
Liverpool has long been a hub of discovery and culture — from its groundbreaking contributions to science and engineering to its vibrant arts and music scene. It’s the perfect place to bring together our community of technicians, technologists, and professionals for another inspiring day of learning, networking, and development.
Following the huge success of our 2025 Conference at the University of Birmingham, we’re already planning an exciting programme for 2026 that will continue to celebrate innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Just like in previous years, the day will feature talks, workshops, and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across higher education, industry, research, and beyond. The workshops will return along with a fantastic line up of keynote sessions and will once again provide valuable insights into the evolving technical landscape.
