Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we work, innovate, and solve complex challenges across science and technology. To explore these developments, the Science Council is hosting its flagship conference, The Entwined Evolution of AI and the Science Workforce: Shaping the Future.
Taking place on Monday 6 July at the Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, London, this one-day event will bring together leading experts, policymakers, and professionals to examine how AI is influencing the future of the science workforce.
Dr Richard Saldanha will be attending the event to ensure the voices of the IST community are heard.
Throughout the day, delegates will explore how AI can support those entering scientific careers, how roles within the sector are evolving, and what lessons can be learned from the real-world adoption of AI across scientific disciplines.
The conference features keynote addresses from Professor Chris Johnson, Chief Scientific Adviser at DSIT, and Professor Charlotte Deane, Executive Chair of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and UKRI AI Senior Responsible Owner.
With AI continuing to shape the future of science, this event provides a valuable opportunity to gain insights, share experiences, and discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead.
