AWARD & PRIZES

The Institute is supporting this year's West Midlands Chemistry Technician of the Year award in conjunction with the Royal Society of Chemistry, Aston University, HEaTED and the University of Warwick. Full details are available on the Royal Society and you are warmly encouraged to submit nominations.

Whilst this award applies to just a small sector of our growing membership, IST and HEaTED have committed to supporting it as it is a significant step towards recognition of our
technical skills and professionalism. It is being run as a pilot and if successful
will be rolled out nationally in the future. If you are not a chemist or in the West
Midlands hopefully your time will come.

The Institute offers a number of it's own Awards and Prizes
which are designed to support individual members in their
chosen careers. These are currently under review and
further information will be posted here in due course.
